Hey there! I’m really excited for my first post. I’ve been working on setting up this blog for quite a while, and it’s nice to finally get to the fun part: blogging! My friend Sonya and I shot this look a little while back at the Presidio Bunkers, an old abandoned military complex in San Francisco. I’ve been living in the Bay Area over 10 years now but this was my first time visiting this spot. Sonya frequently shoots weddings and engagements here and I can see why! There are some fairly breathtaking views of the Golden Gate Bridge and the entire bay.
Ok, now on to the outfit. The off-white blazer and baby blue shirt provide a nice backdrop to the teal/black striped tie which really pops and is the centerpiece of this look. I’ve just recently got into lapel flowers (more on that in a future post), and I really like how this purple flower I bought from Suited Man complements the outfit. I tried to class it up a bit with the matching gold tie bar and blingy watch. This is the Lozano watch from MN Watch Co., a site I highly recommend. They have some really nice looking timepieces at VERY affordable prices. I might be pushing my luck a bit with the striped socks, but what can I say, I love stripes! My excuse is the blue striped socks go with the blue shirt and navy pants. Did I pull it off?
Alright, post numero uno is in the books. I hope this is the first of many. Cheers to getting our dapper on!
